Pink Rocks The Runway is an annual fashion event that promotes breast cancer awareness to men and women under the age of 40. The event was held on October 21 inside the impressive Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. The program celebrated young breast cancer survivors each wearing a pink couture dress from a local designer, drawing attention to the misconception breast cancer awareness should begin at the age of 40. Annapolis native Christian Siriano, who may be best known for winning the reality fashion competition show, “Project Runway,” headlined the event. FOX 5's Will Thomas was among a group of personalities and athletes who also walked the runway wearing custom pink ties.
